The Argument (2026)
The Argument is a short fiction film that follows Martha and Matty navigating a tumultuous period in their relationship. They engage in infidelity and conflict yet remain deeply in love. The film aims to present a complex perspective on relationships from within, challenging the conventional view of what is observed externally. It explores themes of rebellion through relationship expectations and defiance against their partnership. The couple rebels against their relationship in an attempt to harm their partner while harming themselves.
Development
Starting Development in September 2025, The argument was the first time I pitched an idea to a group of filmmakers. While in development I worked closely with the other filmmakers, such as Director Alex Broughton-Chambers and Cinematographer Jenna Saluja, to create this project.
