About me.

Growing up in the Cambridgeshire countryside, I grew a love for film and filmmaking from a young age. By ten, I was crafting stop-motion films with my LEGO and action figures, writing silly scripts and experimenting with a camera. By the time I was sixteen, I transitioned to using my iPhone to film everything, no matter where I was or what I was doing. By eighteen, I had started my journey into creating real short films, collaborating with likeminded people locally, and exploring my future.

In the second quarter of 2023, I made my first official short film “Neither Happy nor Sad”, which I wrote, produced, directed, starred in and shot myself. The film is terrible, but it started my journey here.

In the third quarter of 2024, I had two short films under my belt and had just started my undergraduates degree in filmmaking at Nottingham Trent University. And what I’ve learnt over the past two years has allowed me to grow as a filmmaker and explore my creativity, collaborate with highly skilled filmmakers and professional actors, build industry connections and most importantly make films. Over the last two years I’ve worked on six short films, a music video, fashion film, and even an experimental piece.

Now entering my last year of my degree, I’m looking forward to the opportunities to make more films, to work with new people and to continue to develop my filmmaking style, skills and portfolio.
